Smile for safety. Kathleen Wynne congratulates the IBC team for a successful Safety Zone campaign.
Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne made a stop at IBC’s Safety Zone booth last month while she toured the Neighbours Night Out – Open Streets Festival, an annual community event in her riding of Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park.
At the booth, Wynne spoke to the group of teenagers gathered around IBC’s driving simulator–the Safety Mobile–about the dangers of distracted driving.
“It’s just as bad to be texting or using your phone while driving as it is to be driving intoxicated,” Wynne told the crowd.
